Vote for Jasiah Mize—The Future of Baseball Starts Here
This Young King Lives And Breathes Baseball—And Your Vote Could Help Him Take The Crown

This week’s newsletter is deeply personal and close to my heart.
Because while I usually show up in your inbox to talk business, marketing, and mindset… today, I want to talk about legacy, dreams, and the kind of unstoppable determination that reminds you anything is possible when you love something enough.
And the story begins with my son, Jasiah Mize.
⚾ The Boy Who Fell in Love With the Game
Ever since Jasiah could walk, he had a bat in one hand and a ball in the other.
I still remember those early mornings when the sun hadn’t even come up, and Jasiah was already outside, practicing his swing with nothing more than a wiffle ball and a dream.
He wasn’t chasing attention. He wasn’t doing it for praise.
He did it because something inside him lit up every time he stepped on the field. Something sacred. Something fierce. Something beautiful.
And that “something” has carried him through every win, every loss, every bruise, and every breakthrough.
Today, Jasiah is 11 years old. He’s smart. He’s focused. And he’s got a passion and a work ethic that coaches say you just can’t teach.
But more than his talent, it’s his heart, discipline, and respect for the game that make him truly special.
🎤 The Interview That Showed the World Who He Really Is
I recently had the honor of sitting down with Jasiah for an interview — not just as his mom, but as someone genuinely curious about the young man he’s becoming.
And I’ll be honest with you…
I was blown away.
In this interview (now live on www.JasiahMize.com), you’ll see a side of Jasiah most don’t get to witness. His insight into the game is sharp. His personality? Unshakable. And his love for baseball? As deep as ever.
He talked about what it means to be a great teammate. How he handles pressure. Why he studies not just the physical side of baseball, but the mental and strategic side too.
He lit up when he spoke about his role models. He grinned when asked about his toughest plays. And his humility? Pure gold.
He’s not just trying to be a good player — he’s committed to becoming a great man through the process.
🏆 Why He’s Running for Youth Athlete of the Year
A few weeks ago, Jasiah was nominated for the Youth Athlete of the Year award — a national contest recognizing athletes who display incredible talent, sportsmanship, and commitment to their sport.
We were excited… and honestly, humbled.
Because this isn’t just about being popular. This contest is about celebrating young athletes who lead with integrity, courage, and heart.
Jasiah fits that bill in every way.
He’s currently in Round 1 of the competition and was holding the #1 spot in his group early on — but rankings can change fast.
And that’s why I’m reaching out today.
🙏🏽 We Need Your Vote (and Support)
If you’ve ever believed in the power of dreams…
If you’ve ever wanted to encourage a young man walking in purpose…
If you’ve ever wanted to help a kid know that what he does matters…
Then please take 15 seconds to vote for Jasiah today.

You can vote for free once per day, every day during this round.
But if you feel led to go a step further, you can also become a paid voter — and help Jasiah take back the top spot and secure his place in the next round.
👉🏽 Paid votes start at just $10 and go up to $100 — and every dollar = 1 vote that counts toward his standing.
Not only does your support help Jasiah get closer to the win, but a portion of all paid votes go toward the B+ Foundation, supporting kids battling childhood cancer. So it's a cause that goes beyond one athlete — it's about all kids chasing healing, hope, and a fighting chance.
💬 In Jasiah’s Own Words…
In the interview, I asked him one final question:
“Why should people vote for you?”
He paused.
Then he looked up and said:
“I’ll give everyone who voted back half the money I win.”
And I thought that was commendable. He wanted to share the money.
And THAT is why I’m sharing this with you today.
Not as his mom. But as someone who believes that when you see greatness in someone, it’s your duty to help shine a light on it.
🌟 Let’s Make This Moment Count
We talk about building legacies and breaking generational curses in this community all the time.
Well, Jasiah is part of my legacy.
And this opportunity is bigger than just a contest.
It’s about showing our kids that when they walk in excellence, the world will meet them there.
