Becoming Who You Were Always Meant To Be
A Real Convo On What It Really Takes To Grow Into Your Next Level

There are moments in your life that mark a before and after.
For me, sitting down with Brent Payne—longtime entrepreneur, mentor, and the founder of VIM (Very Important Me)—was one of those moments.
We didn’t meet to sell a product.
We didn’t meet to hype up the latest trend.
We met to talk about what it actually takes to create the life you say you want.
The kind of life where you feel aligned.
The kind where you’re not chasing success, but embodying it.
The kind where you finally see and believe in you.
This conversation is one I believe every woman in the Wealthy Mom Society needs to hear.
Here’s why.
I. Introduction: When the Soul Knows It’s Time
When I left network marketing after 18 years, it wasn’t because I didn’t believe in the industry.
It was because I felt a misalignment in who I was becoming—and what I was doing.
That’s what drew me to Brent.
His journey mirrored so much of what I’ve experienced.
From building big teams, to recognizing the cost of success without self-awareness, to finally creating a movement rooted in inner alignment over outer performance.
So I invited him to join me for a powerful podcast interview.
The theme?
Becoming Who You Were Always Meant To Be.
II. The Man Behind the Movement
Brent shared how before all the business success—before Liberty League, before mentorship—he was a regular guy who simply wanted more.
Not just more money.
More meaning.
And through his experiences (many wins, just as many lessons), he realized something most people never stop long enough to confront:
We have been fed so much that doesn’t serve us.
He said,
People have been given a lot of really bad advice, and misinformation, and legacy media is just crap. I think that people want a place to belong and call home.
That hit home.
Because so many of us are chasing the next thing, searching for something, somewhere, hoping it fixes how we feel.
Brent learned that personal development isn’t optional.
It’s the foundation.
III. What Is VIM — And Why Now?
When I asked Brent to break down what VIM actually is, he didn’t hesitate:
“VIM stands for Very Important Me.”
It’s not an MLM. It’s not a hype machine.
It’s a process. A framework. A structure for being—not just doing.
And I loved how unapologetic he was about that.
Brent didn’t want to create another “make money online” opportunity.
He wanted to create a space for people to wake up to themselves.
Because if you don’t get clear on who you are and what you want, you’ll keep signing up for things that don’t serve you—and calling it ambition.
IV. Why People Stay Stuck — And How VIM Helps
One of the most powerful parts of our conversation was when Brent explained why most people stay stuck.
It’s not because they’re lazy.
It’s not even because they lack strategy.
It’s because they’ve built an identity around who they think they are—and can’t see what’s really available to them.
People say they want more… but this story that we tend to create of ‘I’m not good enough, it hasn’t happened, or we go back into the past…it’s all hogwash.
VIM helps shift that.
Through powerful identity work, guided frameworks, and proximity to people who are doing the work—it builds belief.
Real belief. Not borrowed hype.
It helps people transform not just what they do, but how they see themselves.
And as I always say—you can’t outperform your self-image.
V. The Power of Saying “Yes” to You
At the end of the interview, I asked Brent what he’d say to the people who’ been burned before.
The woman who’s tried everything, but nothing stuck.
The woman who wants to believe… but is afraid to try again.
And the power of saying “yes”.
He said this:
If you really want to experience positivity, transformation, and authenticity in your life, and it’s lacking right now, saying ‘No’ is not gonna get it.
That gave me chills.
Because I know what it feels like to keep trying, keep investing, and keep hoping…
Only to feel like it’s not working.
But what if the missing piece isn’t another funnel?
What if it’s you—finally getting clear, grounded, and aligned?
Brent reminded me (and our audience) that this isn’t about motivation.
It’s about movement.
It’s about deciding that this time…
You won’t let fear make the call.
You won’t wait for permission.
You won’t shrink to fit a version of yourself you’ve outgrown.
Action Steps: Take the Leap Toward You
Ask Yourself: Am I operating from my old identity or my future self?
Be honest about the stories you’ve been telling yourself.Audit Your Growth Structures: Are you plugged into anything that stretches you mentally, emotionally, spiritually? Or are you just “winging it?”
Watch the Interview Replay.
Brent dropped gems that could shift how you see your life and business forever.
This was one of the most real, grounded, and inspiring interviews I’ve done in a long time.
It’s not about hype.
It’s about healing.
It’s not about hustle.
It’s about honoring yourself.
And I truly believe that for some of you reading this, this episode may be the permission slip your future self has been waiting on.
Go watch it.
Let it sit.
And if it stirs something in you—lean in.
You were never meant to stay stuck.
You were meant to become.
With love and belief,
